The 2 apps that I will be going over is going to be Tik Tok, and Instagram.
Starting with Tik Tok, I think this app is great, only for the reason that the target audience is yourself. When you get Tik Tok you start you feed off with random videos that Tik Tok just throws at you and it slowly adjust to the videos that you like and save and repost to give you a full feed based on what you like. I use Tik Tok a lot of my free time because the videos are being suggested to me for a reason, it is all videos that they know I will enjoy. You also have a feature that allows you to send videos to your friends, and a follower tab so if you do not like that page that is made for you, you can watch the videos from the creators that you follow which is always a bonus. Tik Tok is used for entertainment purposes just to watch short videos that you can enjoy in your free time. Tik Tok generates revenue from ad revenue and in-app gift purchases. The ads function synonymously as those from other social media platforms: advertisers select their target demographic and Tik Tok places this messaging in front of the advertiser’s desired audience.
Instagram alike Tik Tok is made for you by the people that you follow. Instagram is a website or app that you use to keep up with your friends and family, you can post pictures and videos of what you do in your life, it can be occasional or 10 a day which is why its nice. Instagram is just a good place for people to hang out and send videos to each other and keep up with one another’s lives without reaching out to that person all of the time. The Instagram business model is primarily based on advertising. The platform has many advertising formats, such as photo and video ads, carousel ads, story ads, and sponsored content. With over 2 billion active monthly users, the popularity of this social media platform is growing exponentially. The easiest way to use Instagram is to just test out everything before you start asking people for their Instagram that way you know what you are doing.
