Future Tech

For my future tech I decided to go with transportation, it has been a huge thing in the way we live today and has changed the world drastically, Electric cars function by plugging into a charge point and taking electricity from the grid . They store the electricity in rechargeable batteries that power an electric motor, which turns the wheels. Electric cars accelerate faster than vehicles with traditional fuel engines – so they feel lighter to drive.

Who (or what) invented or pioneered the technology? round 1832, Robert Anderson develops the first crude electric vehicle, but it isn’t until the 1870s or later that electric cars become practical.

What “problem” does it solve for its users? The major benefit of electric cars is the contribution that they can make towards improving air quality in towns and cities. With no tailpipe, pure electric cars produce no carbon dioxide emissions when driving. This reduces air pollution considerably.

Are there any potential drawbacks or dangers of using the tech? batteries need rare metals, they are only as green as their power sources, can be expensive to buy, are not enough charging points to charge them, cannot drive as far in them.

Offer one example of how widespread adoption of this technology might impact society? They have a double benefit: they cut down on pollution and climate change while also saving money for motorists
