Adding your Avatar

Here’s how to add a picture of yourself to your WordpPress/Edublogs profile.

First, start at your dashboard, and click on the “Update Profile” button.

Then go to the sidebar and click on “Your Avatar”

Click on browse, and find the picture you want to use in your folders. I suggest using a selfie of yourself but that’s not mandatory.

Click on the photo you want to use and then click “Open”

Then click on the “upload” button.

Now you will need to crop the photo. This is perhaps the most difficult part of the process because the photo may appear extremely large on your screen. If necessary press control or command minus to zoom out.  Drag the bright square across your face. This bright square is the portion of the photo that will become your avatar.

Then click the crop image button.

Congratulations, you have successfully uploaded your avatar.
