One cloud-based system that I use is zoom, zoom is a cloud-based system that allows users to connect through voice, video and chat. Zoom is primarily used for virtual meetings, phone calls, and presentations. Zoom uses the cloud by allowing users to record their video, audio, and chat texts from meetings and have it directly saved on the zoom cloud storage. Another cloud-based system that I use is google. The Google cloud platform (GCP) provides a variety of tools for users including internal networks, VPN connections for private networks and disk storage. Without the cloud these systems would not work as well and having these systems on the cloud allows for more variety and an easier way to use the system. I trust the developers of these systems and I do not have any security concerns when I use these systems.

Over the last few years, the world wide web has evolved in many different ways and has become a main source of information and communication across the world. You may ask yourself, today, do more people access the web using computers or mobile devices? According to the article “Mobile vs. Desktop Usage Statistics For 2025″ written by Christo Petrov, mobile devices are the clear leader when it comes to accessing the web. He says Mobile devices account for 63.15% of global web traffic, while desktops comprise 36.85% as of April 2025.” More people in the world are likely to have access to a mobile device rather than a computer which likely is the reason for the large difference in these percentages. The web used to be controlled by the U.S governments Commerce Department, however it is now controlled by the “Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers” (ICANN). The web is made up of web pages that are interlinked and online resources that can be used by way of a web browser. Tim Berners-Lee, a British Computer scientist, is credited as the creator of the world wide web. He created it in 1989, and the original goal was to create automated information sharing between scientists across the world. One of the online resources that is commonly used is a blog. A blog is a website that usually provides insight and information on a certain topic and is regularly updated. A blog is used in many different ways such as a place to share information, a platform to market a business, a way to build a community, and as a means of personal expression. A responsive web design is a design approach that makes a site usable across different screen sizes and resolutions using techniques such as fluid grids, fluid images and media quires to create a responsive and usable site. Responsive web designs are necessary so that web sites can be accessed and easily used across different devices and applications. It is also needed to create an enjoyable experience for any user no matter what technology they choose the use. SEO is improving your websites content, structure and visibility so that it ranks higher in search engines and is more likely to be found and used. Website owners and managers should be concerned with SEO because without SEO a website is less likely to gain traffic, and the website could ultimately fail without the use of SEO. Dynamic content is also important for web designers and managers. Dynamic content is content that adapts to users in real time and allows for a personalized experience. This allows for content that is directly tailored to a user based on location, browsing history, and user behavior and provides a personally tailored experience. A content management system (CMS) also allows for a better user experience. A content management system is a software that helps users store, create, manage, and modify digital content. A CMS that I personally use is WordPress, which this blog was created on. A YouTube channel is a personal page created on YouTube where content can be uploaded, shared, and managed. A business might want to start a YouTube channel to showcase their new products, ideas, or services in video format and share these things with other popular creators or the general public.
