Where Can You Turn For Help?

With Technology changing, so does a lot of software that we use! One that I use for classes and for fun, is Photoshop. Photoshop can be a little tricky sometimes, especially if you do not know how to use it! A great way to find any tutorials is through Google, you can find videos or even go to the Adobe Website for tips and tricks for their software from different users. Everything that I am going to be referring to is through the Adobe Website from 2017-2022, so relatively current information.

Adobe Help is the website posting tutorials, the official Adobe website! In a way I think there is some authority because it is their software; however, I think it is not specifically from the Adobe creators themselves. They find a presenter and they make a category for the tutorial, but I am assuming they work for Adobe. So, I feel they are an authority because it is the official site and you can also look up the presenter, or click their name on the site and find some of their works! For example the tutorial for Adding Texts and Shapes, you can find the tutorial, and then down at the bottom, it says the date and presenter. It also has other information for the photos used or anything else that is used within each tutorial!

Unfortunately, I could not find any editors or if their tutorials work with voting – which some sites use in order to find out what their users are wanting to see more of or what they find more helpful. I would like to say that since Adobe is such a well-known site that it does it automatically before each tutorial, or perhaps they edit it before each post!

Something about the site is that everything is super clear to follow! It takes you step-by-step what you need to do! When you look at any of the tutorials, like this one here: Working With Layers. You can see each step, numbered and explain what you have to do; making it much easier than reading a giant paragraph!

I will definitely be using Adobe Help for future use! It gives me the tutorials I need in order to make a fun piece or edit a photo to my liking, also if I ever get stuck trying to do something on my own – I am able to go back and retrace my steps with the tutorial!
