According to Statista.com more than half of the global population is connected to the internet. In the US alone there are over 313 million people with internet access. And the majority of people (276,800,000) in the United States access the internet from a mobile device.

  1. Who controls the World Wide Web? What is it made up of?

The World Wide Web is an information system that allows documents to connect to other documents by hypertext links. Was controlled by us department of commerce. Now is controlled by ICANN

  1. Who is Tim Berners Lee? What is he best known for?

Tim Berners Lee is a computer scientist. He is best known for creating the World Wide Web. He also developed the Hypertext Transfer Protocol. HTTP

  1. What is a blog? What is it used for?

A blog is a website or web page that is regularly updated. Originally it was a weblog or a personal homepage. Blogs can be used for personal or business needs.

  1. What is a “responsive” website design?

Responsive website design refers to the use of HTML and CSS to resize a website. Responsive design makes a website look good on all devices.

  1. Why are “responsive” website designs necessary?

It is necessary to have a responsive website to ensure continuity of the webpage regardless of which kind of device it is used to view the page.

  1. What is SEO, and why should website owners/managers be concerned with SEO?

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. Having Search Engine Optimization increases the quantity and quality of web traffic to your site.

  1. What is dynamic content?

Dynamic content allows the website content to change based on user interactions.

  1. What is a content management system? You work with one, what is its name?

  1. What is a YouTube channel? Who might want to start one?

A YouTube channel is a place to share and display content. There seems to be a YouTube channel for any possible topic you can think of. Many people have a YouTube channel to educate or to share a particular skill. I have watched a YouTube tutorial on how to disassemble and clean my firearm.
