Hello, my name is Bryce Thompson and I am twenty one years old. I enjoy playing video games and creating art through various mediums. Recently I’ve begun trying to teach myself 3D modeling and have begun learning the basics behind the making of video games. I have also been throwing around the idea of starting a YouTube channel on which I would probably post videos regarding art I’ve made, projects I’m working on, and once I know enough to properly start on it, a devlog as I work on my first of (hopefully) many future games.

I have been enrolled in both the Digital Design, and Web Design majors at COTC for going on three years at this point, having enrolled back in 2020. I have always been interested by art in its many forms which has led me down the path to work toward a digital design degree. I also found through my first semester with COTC that I have a bit of a knack for web design, at least the basics of html and css. I figured the two degrees would complement each other fairly well and was one of my overall reasons for deciding to dual major. Despite having worked some of the back-end development of websites, I have never made an online blog post and haven’t really ever engaged with social media so I hope that this class will help me build some of the skills in those aspects that I’ll need to be more successful in the field.
