Hello! My name is Jessica Smith, I’m originally from Columbus but moved to Newark in 2018. I’ve been with my husband since 2015 and we got married on the beach in 2020 which is the same year I started my small business. I started my business doing custom resin art pieces and I really fell in love with the process of resin art, but I ended up rebranding and now I make wax melts, home fragrance items, soap, body butter and others skin care items, my products are featured in 2 shops in Columbus. I won’t lie its extremely hard having a business right now with rising supply costs which is one of the reasons I started going to school, in hopes to find another career path that is still something I enjoy but that I don’t have to pour all of my money into. I’ve always had a passion for photography, I really love dark moody portraits and Halloween / spooky photo shoots so I might try to find a niche in a photography business but until I figure that out here I am!
